I have always wondered while flying to the US, why I fly for such a long time over snow and ice.
Is it Newfoundland - and WHY if the earth is a globe!? The distance would be much closer and the flight would not go over Newfoundland!
And why will you never be able to see the curves of the Earth when you are high up in the sky?
